Dr. Heilmeier, Babbie, and the friendly veterinary staff at Animal
Medical Center are concerned about your pet's health. Their medical team consists of Dr. Kasey Singley, Veterinary Associate, Kim Forbes,
their receptionist; Robin
Rogers, a veterinary technician and the hospital's manager; Tia Pawlus,
also a veterinary technician; and Lori Lindsey & Brenda Watson,
their full-time animal caregivers.

Dr. Heilmeier and Babbie are extremely proud of their caring and professional staff.
Dr. Heilmeier and his staff have over 45 years' combined veterinary experience specializing in medicine,
surgery, dentistry, and senior & pediatric wellness programs; some of the girls have worked with
him over ten years.
Dr. John Heilmeier was born and raised in Alabama's charming Baldwin County. He graduated
from Foley High School, and received his degree from Auburn University's School of Veterinary Medicine
in 1982. He has been a veterinarian and practiced in South Baldwin County for 23 years and in 1997,
opened Animal Medical Center. He and his wife Babbie, who is office manager at the clinic, renovated
a home into a veterinary practice that would give a warm, loving feeling and show how much they love
all animals. |

Dr. Kasey Singley was also born and raised in Baldwin County. Dr. Singley always knew she wanted to become a veterinarian and at the age of 15, began working for Dr. Heilmeier. After graduating from Foley High School in 1997, she then pursued her career at Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation in 2006, she was the recepient of the Gentle Doctor Award. She and her husband are expecting their first child in October.

Kim Forbes is the receptionist for Animal Medical Center; she started working for Dr. Heilmeier in
October of 1998. She says her love for animals is what led her to pursue a job in veterinary practice.
She and her husband are the proud parents of three K-9 children. |

Robin Rogers is a licensed veterinary technician and hospital supervisor for Animal Medical Center.
She began working with Dr. Heilmeier in 1992 after moving to Baldwin County. She began her career as
a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 1990, after graduating from Snead Junior College's School of Veterinary
Technology. She says her love and compassion for animals is the reason she decided to choose this career,
and adds that the unconditional love a beloved pet had for its owner makes her want to come to work
each day. She and her husband have 2 children and 3 Australian Shepherds, 4 cats, and 2
goats. |

Tia Pawlus is a licensed Veterinary Technician, origially from Virginia, she moved to Baldwin County in September 2007. She graduated from Wilson College in Chambersburg PA with a BS in Veterinary Technology and Biology. Her passion for doing animal rescue, rehab, and replacement of abandoned and abused animals is what led her to a career in Veterinary Technology. She and her husband have a daughter, 5 dogs, 2 cats, and fish. |

Lori Lindsey is a receptionist assistant and veterinary assistant. Lori Lindsey originally came from California in 1998. She began work at Animal Medical Center in 2006. Her childhood passions of loving and caring for animals is what brought her here. Her and her husband, Shane, are the proud parents of 4 boys, 2 cats, and 1 dog. |

Brenda Watson is the kennel supervisor. She began working in the veterinary field at the age of 18 and started at Animal Medical Center in 2002. She and her husband have 2 daughters and a household of pets. |
